    Quick AR15 Garage build

Spent this arvo helping a friend put his new AR Upper together.

    Aero Precision Upper
Brownells Upper kit Forward assist etc
    Daniel Defense 11.5" Barrel
    Daniel Defense 9" Omega Rail
    Daniel Defense Gasblock and Tube
    CMMG Bolt
    BCM Ambi Charge Handle

We torqued the barrel to 35lb and applied Grease to barrel and seasoned the thread. Definitely helps having an AR vice block. Hopefully we can test fire it tomorrow. Should be loud with the 11.5" barrel

maybe like the chrono's we should have a forum AR15 assembly block set? Seems a bit crazy to spend $150~$200 each.

Yeah great photos! We will wait for your range/flame report

The DD barrel should shoot great if reputation is anything to go by.

I could be persuaded to rent out one of these:

Bloody good and no chance of twisting your upper.

Already on that mate. But in the Facepage group. I'll tag you in it. Makes sense to me as well. I'm looking at building a 300 upper.

Great photos on this too! Well done

A set of communal tools would be great! The tools that Anderset sent through look great! Deadeye Dicks - Cleaning Products Thanks for the feedback on the photos! Tried to capture it all. The only photo I didn't show was the installation of the Ford assist and pin. You basically hold it in and knock the pin in. oh and a pic of the hand guard on! He didn't get a chance to fire it but will get some feedback shortly.

Ive purchased a set for another group but happy to crossover into this group if an admin wants? It's a good bit of kit. I don't want to make money out of it but i think a donations fair for using it. Then I'll just keep adding bits. It's like this..
