Thread: Quick change tool post, advice please

Yep same center height as mine, 200 series will be the go for you. Link seems to work for me too?

The only thing is making sure the T slot if yours has a T slot to mount the tool post isn't jacked up by the central screwed pin that locates the toolpost. The pin is usually longer than needed for the T slot in the cross slide, and if you keep tightening it down you can drive the threaded pin into the base of the T slot and using the toolpost T nut as a jack ripping the sides of the T slot out! Not ideal...

The solution is shorten the bottom threaded section of the center pin so that the threads stop turning in the T nut before it bottoms out on the slot.
