Restore my old 1916 P14 Remmington

Finished this today with one of the mates from work. Awesome results. Used alll the Birchwood Casey products and highly recommend them to anyone looking to restore a firearm. Sorry about 2nd photo. It was taken with a phone. Full restoration kit was $49.00 from Serious Shooters.

Basically strip and sand all the bad parts on the stock. Coat with deep maple stain from Mitre10. Coat in Tru-Oil.

Strip back old bluing on rifle and sand back any surface rusting. Do a full cold re-blu on the rifle. Oil and re-assemble.

    So happy with the results
