Finished this tonight. Nothing really amazing just picked up an old roughy and gave it a tidy up. Tru oiled the stock and a reblue. Fitted a more modern scope in some old school weaver mounts

It's not a 660 is it?
bizare angle on that bolt.... bisley recoil pad unless my eyes decieve me... hopefully it shoots well for you and gives you many years of good service.
yep bisley. Its a 600 mohawk in 243. Barrel doesn't look that flash but its doing 1.5" at 100m with some handloads that are just chucked together to see how it would go, wasn't a super tidy one to start with and if it didn't shoot any good I've got a pretty new 30 cal barrel I could fit to it, but It seems to shoot ok for what it is. Just one of the many...Probably have a little play for a while and sell it. Best bluing job I've done so far.
5 coats of tru oil and 10 coats of blue. Ive found doing the last coat in bluing paste get rid of the streakyness.
