This was the first scope I learnt to shoot with in the late 60's.
Not sure how old it is or even who the manufacturer was.
It was my fathers and was mounted on a BSA single shot .22 (which I still have) for many years.
It was removed and replaced some time in the 70's because it has become dusty on the inside as can be seen here.
Other than that I know nothing about this scope but would like to have it cleaned, re-gassed, replaced on the BSA and put to use again for no other reason other than nostalga.
So is it as simple as disassembling the scope cleaning the lenses with camera cleaning equipment and reassembling the scope in a nitrogen filled bath or is it best left to an expert?
If an expert is required then who would you reccommend?
Any advise would be appreciated.
Cheers
Pete
