Shortening 12g Shotgun barrel

Hey all. 👋

Apologies if this has come up before but I'm just wondering if anyone has experience or has shortened a shotgun barrel before and how it was done. I'm looking to take about 170mm off or so.

Any tips would be great. Tho gunsmith obviously would be the best bet.

Yeah I figured that maybe the case. Hopefully there is one near me that's still going
