And with a few add on bits you could be making barrels.

Quick thread adapter for the T2

Most of my rifles are 14x1.0. Recently picked up a Bergara HMR, which turns out to be 18x1.0

So I made this out of a scrap piece of stainless. Interesting learning curve, first time I've done metric internal threading. Used a ER32 hex collet block in the mill to cut the hex so I can take the adapter on and off. Just need to see how the brake indexes and cut the shoulder back.

When it's all fitted and indexed I will take it to a mate to bead-blast so it has a similar finish as the T2.

A mate asked for a custom made youth stock. Single shot 223.
Timber is LVL from a centre span in a pole shed, recoil pad started life as a size 11 jandal from the warehouse. I'm rubbish at checkering so went with a stippled grip section.

@gundoc he ( Mr Vulcan barrels ) was around at my place today dropping off Ted's catalogue, inspecting the American long rifle I have just finished and checking on the double rifle barrels I started turning and fitting today.
Both those barrels are pure Vulcan made but I had a hand in all phases of their manufacture
I was really only pushing the buttons though because the set up is above my pay scale

It's great having such a talented guy looking over your shoulder and putting you right

Looking at making an inline compensator. Made this alu prototype today to sort out machining and work holding steps.

Ports angled 30 degrees back. Shroud will screw onto the brake. Will be interesting to see what the nett effect will be.

Got a german hera linear 223 comp you are welcome to borrow to copy for a larger comp ,it was awesome at the range as no one complained about blast or noise as it all went forward . Just make sure you hit your target as it hear where you are if you miss .
