Thread: A singleshot.22 to fit the boy

Pretty much snap on that. About two years ago, I was given a Slazenger SS in rather rough condition but did a tidy up on it. My grandson is just five but is pretty damn tall so I fancy I can let him have a go shortly. I'm actually in two minds about starting with iron sights as he won't be shooting one for long but there is a safety case to be made with starting them off on a single shot. If he proves to be keen and competent, he may well end up inheriting some nice rimfires, eg a very good Model 1 Brno.
