I roughed both the pistol grip and the cheekpiece up with 40 grit sandpaper and slapped some builders bog on it. Then tidied it up with a sanding disc, but that bogs bloody hard after a few days! I also take a fair bit off the back of the pistol grip. For this last rifle, I wanted it to look like a long range rig similar to what we use, as it will be used a fair bit at gong shoots. And I painted it black cos pink bog doesn't quite blend in with a wood stock.
