    You have inspired me.
As I have two identical rifles I have bubba'd 1 to meet the needs of my son.
Bbl will be knocked off at the chalk mark and foresight reattached to get the weight balance to feel right..

The top rifle was gifted to me by 7mmSaum cos he is such a GC

I hope to be able to hand these on when my son grows out of them to someone else to carry it on.

Shorter LOP and narrowing of the wrist.
Its not perfect but I think it will come out ok

Recently found this post when searching for advice and was inspired by Roktoy's ingenuity.
A couple of years ago I was given an old Slazenger/Lithgow singleshot .22 that I have tidied up over the last week or two in my spare time with the view of teaching my grandson to shoot in a few years time. The rifle had been subject to its fair share of neglect during it's time and was misfiring when I got it. After acquiring a spare bolt from one of the forums "good bastards" aka "HarryG" I have got it working.
I have sanded it down, refinished the stock and touched up the bluing locked away in my "cave" on some recent cold evenings.
Must admit it gave me a bit of a buzz working on this knowing that I will be able to share some quality time with my grandson in a few years.
So proud of my efforts I took it to show another of the forum's "good bastards" aka "Bluecod". He had an old stock off one of these hanging around in his "cave" that he gave to me with the suggestion that I cut it down to be user friendly for little arms.
Following the good advice shared by "Roktoy" and others in the original thread this is where I am at so far in the attached photograph.
Was wondering if anyone has a spare trigger guard for one of these rifles lying around that they are willing to part with.Name: IMG_1309[1].JPG
