    Out of interest sake,
    The sako ammo claimed 2917fps on the box.
    I recorded a average speed of 2918fps over 5 rounds with a spread of 30 fps.
    Not bad for factory ammo

    Glad you got it all sorted in the end,so you found a complete SS Cocking/firing pin assembly to use?I really like that stock finish so make sure you do a follow up on how it wears, as l will do one of my stocks in the same if it wears OK .

    I got a complete firing pin from the Winchester distributor in Auckland in the end.
    I have put a few coats of matte clear over the stock to help resist wear. the finish is really nice and grippy. your welcome to have a look if you are not too far away I am based in North Canterbury
