    "once a semi always a semi" seems a bizarrely illogical idea. Is that just the opinion of a local arms occifer or from higher up the chain?

    Seems pretty obvious to me that if it can't reload/cycle itself then by definition it isn't semi-auto.

    Pretty sure the arms act/arms code doesn't say anything about 'firearms which used to be semi-automatic'. Instead of MSSA it must be MSUTBSA.
