Stupid Browning x bolt dura touch

So after my last trip into the kawekas where I brought home half the tussock with me stuck to the stock I decided enough was enough.
A bit of research told me I could remove the sticky dura touch coating.
Firstly I tried break clean with no luck so tried some goof off I had lying around which seemed to work.
I ended up scraping most of the coating of with a piece of wood before finishing with a rag and goof off.
Result is a standard looking synthetic stock. You don't have to do the checkering areas as they don't have the dura touch applied.

It appeared you could go another layer deeper also which I did by accident in one place but it looked like this layer is quite shiny.

Hope this might help others with sticky stock troubles.
