    Suppressed 20 G

Thought I would spill the beans on a little project we have been working on as it is looking promising. Many know I produce a fully suppressed 410, this is super quiet using standard off the shelf ammo. Well as the title says we are now in the final stages of getting a 20 G complete, this again is designed for use with standard ammo, so easy to feed.

Though not super quiet like the 410, this sounds similar to say a 308 with a decent suppressor, not bad conditions is small, light gun with an 18 1/2” barrel and obviously a bit more punch than the 410.

I will be at the Sika show on the Owl Optics stand so come and say hello

    Cheers
    Darren

looks great, the extra 1/4oz of shot/payload will be advantage, assumingly the pellets will still be travelling at same velocity to achieve subsonicness so extra pellets on target must help.
    75/15/10 black powder matters

Yea it's just different tool for a slightly different job, if you want super quiet for orchards and neighbors etc. then the 410 more than does the job but if you want a bigger punch but want to do without hearing protection and not be too loud in the area then the 20 will serve.

    Hey Darren
    this looks cool as Mate
are you thinking of a red dot plus a shottie bead affixed to the front of suppressor

Not really got that far with this one, definitely the bead, good idea, I might see if the breech area is thick enough to drill for a rail.

You could sweat a rail on like open sights?

Yea not a bad idea, though most stock project rail is anodized aluminium

Will this do the odd slug load or payload charges?

Like the 410 really just meant for shot, slugs etc. will beat up the internal components (designed for shot) and slugs tend to run a lot faster, thus significantly decreasing suppression. For solids I would employ a different suppression system.
