    Tent Wood Stove

Anyone built their own yet? See many how to videos on YouTube. Anyone used an ammo box?

9 kg (and larger) gas bottles make excellent hot tent wood burners

Lots of pics on the internet

@thatguy I have made a couple of lightweight tent stoves
First a V shaped one with a bottom draft tube
The a box one what held the flue sections inside

When I finally got my Kifaru 6 man tipi I went the whole hog and brought a winnerwell fastfold titanium tent stove because it's sub 2kg

Depends what you want it to do and where
My set up is for Canterbury high country in winter and has been in minus 10ºc
    Very cosy set up
You have to feed the fire a little bit often
Bigger heavier fires would not work in a small space

Spent 3 nights in it last week on the West coast but didn't need to light the fire because it was mild weather
But from this Saturday I'm in the Canterbury high country and it's just turned cold so it will get plenty of use

    Small 595NZ$
    Med 695NZ$

SS - double burn - case - solid SS side that can replace glass (not that you would want to) side shields that sit 1" off the glass and even a smoke detector :-)

There are many more option including a "Large" in the above
