    Tinting Boiled Linseed Oil

Anyone know what I can use to tint/darken linseed oil. I would think any stain or paint that’s oil based but maybe one of you know of some household item?

It may change the drying properties, so be careful.
Better to tint the wood first, then the linseed coats after.

Artists oil paint. Thin it and add small amount to begin with.

Surprisingly effective at being able to match colour if that is what you require.

Yep, thinned washes of artist's oil paint works a treat.
