Thread: Are VULCAN Barrels still being made ?

Hi Guys, does any one know if the chap making Vulcan barrels is still operating ?

I had contact a few years back & then nothing !

I don't think so, due to family issues he ceased trading. Hopefully he will get started again sometime.

Hugh Bradley (Stager Sport - Gunmakers NZ) is making excellent barrels in stainless and chrome-moly. He has make some for me recently (I gave up waiting for my Vulcan order) and I am delighted with the quality.

Thank you, I feared that was the case, his prices were very fair & with that deep hole boring I think he could do barrel relining or even barrel reboring & rifling if asked hard enough ?

I suspect Hugh prices will be way up ?

I have found Hugh's prices to be comparable with Vulcan, and he has a good selection of calibres and profiles in stock.
