    Wall mount for skull

Where can I buy a wall mount for skull at a decent price?
Still yet to bag a stag but I've got a 29" tip to tip goat head I'd like to put up in my man cave.

I either cut a small shield out of rimu and screw that to the wall, obvioulsy into a stud. Or drill a hole in the small flat section on the base of the skull (below the eye sockets) and put a 4 inch nail into the wall and hang on that. I find that's plenty strong enough to hold a decent sized red stag head.
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Yeah. I don't have the tools or the wood to cut out the shield though.
Hoping someone on here sells them or can point me towards someone who does.

This is how I did it.

You can choose your angle etc... it works for goats too, I hung one up later using the same idea.

Thanks Mate, very nice collection you have.
I'm going to use the reloaders hooker.
Much to my surprise the misses was disappointed when I said I was going to put it in my office.
She wants it in the dinning room and she wants the reloaders mount.

    @SlowElliot

You don't need to have a fancy mount for it to look good

Sometimes a weather beaten lichen covered board you find lying broken in the back paddock makes a bloody good mount

Same goes for an ugly twisted beaten up piece of drift wood.

    Cheers

    Thanks guys,
I'll take the family for a walk up a river to look for some driftwood.
See if she sees any she likes.
$70 I don't have to spend on a mount is $70 I can put towards ammo and petrol🤔
Hope all is going well for ya Pete.
