    Are you talking about fullbore or smallbore ?

    If fullbore, phone Mike Collings (Collings Guns), or talk to someone at your local NRANZ club (see https://www.nranz.com/associations-a.../member-clubs/)

    A lot of the older 308 target barrels are 1 in 14 twist, so not suitable for stabilizing anything heavier than 155 gr
