    what glue to use...

Ok so I have an older ruger m77 mk2 with the old Skeleton stock.....anyone familiar with them will know ruger incorporated their own sling swivels, which is fine until you come to mount a bipod on it......ok so I have brought me a qd stud and swivel to make the problem right only to find the underside of the forend quite thin.....so my thoughts were to partially fill this so as to give the stud something to lock into without ripping out.... so after much talking about it and explaining my problems, my question is what glue to use. I was thinking some high quality epoxy with some balloon fillers but will this adhere properly with the synthetic stock?......hopefully someone has an answer......cheers
    Matt
