luvly day friday -conned Mrs into letting me use some dosh to pick upa neat wee Norinco jw15 carbine &suppresor for $250.00. now wears my spare scope! ye trusty old nikkostirling 4x32
course i got the matra -no xmas presents(neat gets me out of xmas shopping) no youre not playing santa(neat working xmas day so wiggle out of xmas dinner /drag out presents rigmarole )how good does this get.
soooo- yesterday for the third time i hunted the mancave hi&lo looking for the spare mag for me old faithful.22 toz17- had the old b...h for near on 40yrs and shes never complained.
Doyou think i can find the thing -not on ya nelly -however........I have in my firearms bits box a shell of a TOz mag(currently they were on TM for $120.00 each.)
a bit of aluminium some sawing and some file work and theres the follower and base made. springs -a bit of a quandary -tried 3 biro springs -spirals went all over the place.
so offto "Shooters Supplies" home of the "good blokes"and wouldnt ya know it they came up trumps again with a 10rd mag spring for $5.00.Thanks andy ,i owe you one.
home i goes and with beer at hand proceeds to welder solder screw&glue.
