    Shoots quite well but if I'm honest compared to tang mounted sights which put the aperture closer to your eye, I find it hard to use. That's on paper though, I'll try out hunting as it may just be trying to line up on small targets at the range I find difficult.

    In your opinion given what you removed, do you think that the .625 will be suitable for a shot at 50 meters

    Yep it'll be fine you still might have to take a bit off the top depending on a few variables. Front sights are very easy to file just get the tallest one and file it to the perfect height yourself.
