    wooden knife handles

Was at the local op shop and picked up a what seems a decent quality kitchen knife or basically nothing. Its hot wooden handles and whatever finish it had has completely gone. What do you recommend to seal the handles with?

You could try Danish Oil as it's very easy to redo. Soaks in a bit unlike poly-based sprays.

If you use danish oil, make sure to drop your rag in a bucket of water to stop it spontaneously igniting. Ask me how I know

Same with Raw Linseed oil. Not saying it will , but spontaneous combustion takes no prisoners and will burn down your shed or house.....

I’ve had it happen before, in my Ute, luckily I was sitting in it at the time.

Yep this makes a super nice finish, most finicky to get right though.

BLO and a coat of wax is fine
