    Youth 410

I'm cutting the stock down on my wee daughters 410 , now it's a full choke single I was thinking of cutting down barrel a little shorter and this will open the choke ? Am I correct in doing this ? My reasoning is less kick and lighter and less clumsy looking as barrel is 28 inc . Advice pls

Yes you will remove the choke, also make it louder and not swing as smoothly

    Best to leave as is

Cutting it down will open the choke. But could be making it lighter so maybe it wouln't be so helpful trying to lose recoil.

Also removing barrel is removing weight which if anything will increase recoil

I've cut the stock and kept it , it will get added back on , it's a Kahn so not too fused about it . Mate has got 410 in original condition so she can move on to that one and his grand son can use my cut cut down stock as he 3 yrs younger .
Yes all advice points at barrel length to stay as is . Thanks guys
