Thread: Zastava Mini Carbon AR style build

So this has taken waaaay too many hours. Was fun when I had the idea but man the hours figuring it all out were painful.
7.62x39 zastava M85 mini action. Paulownia carbon wrap with polymer forend. Modified tikka mag fitted. 2.575kg scoped. And a stunning paint job, man the looks I get when I’m the hunting zone car park from passers by, worth the effort of building it lol

Cheers Micky Duck. The story goes that I bought it with a broken stock and no bottom metal so had to trouble shoot a solution, I built a basic paulownia non carbon build and then this. No I have a hankering to build an old school walnut stock for the new purchase of the same model… be a few months before I collect it tho, let’s see if the walnut or similar timber build sticks that long

Hmmmm bet your basic pualiwinna stock is better than mine...I just can't quite get the fit right,there is slight twist in it somehow... She back in the walnut jobbie now lol
