What sort of target is it hitting at 1500m? Can It tag a furry target at 1100m or is it only larger steel targets?

never tried on deer - tried most other things at varying ranges - not on a animal at that range though

it will go a lot further; the distance is based on a standard target size and reflectivitly that is repeatable for a rating
The target they use is 2.3 x 2.3m with a albedo (reflection coefficient) of 0.3 - so closer can be smaller for same result
Not sure how reflective a deers arse is!?

Trade Me Feedback on this unit - "Excellent rangefinder. Clear optics and very rugged. I have been able to range out to 1470m so far. Cheers."
