Thread: Large rifle primers for magnum primers

Evening all,

Just got to do some more reloading and have just found that I have brought winchester large magnum rifle primers instead of winchester large rifle.

So does any want to swap?

Need to check the quantity but off the top of my head think there is 900 there.

At a pinch you can use your magnum primers instead of LR standard ones, just adjust your powder charge down a grain or so and work back up.

99% of the time what you have is all I use....other than when trying subs it wasnt an issue....and unless you are hotrodding loads it shouldnt be for you either.

Yep just use them,work up load accordingly.

All I used to use was Magnum primers(in mostly non magnum chamberings) then I got non magnum lr primers and introduced another variable....
