    Swap RL25 for Adi2225

2225 is shooting really well for me at the moment so I’m looking to swap some of this RL25. Ideally someone local to Lower Hutt / Wellington.

Would prefer to trade rather than sell.

    1 1/2 tubs.

Looks like the empty plastic containers are 2.2oz or 62gm each.

Isn’t it an equivalent to 2225 anyway mate?

Not in the real world and I suspect not without magnum primers.

It’s faster burning and would go better in a smaller case capacity or lighter projectiles than I was trying.

Will put it up for sale in the weekend if no luck here.

My experience with RL25 it’s burn rate is somewhere between 2217 and 2225, but closer to 2225 and gives good velocities. I run it in 7RM and 6506ai.

Hmm must just not get along with my other components. I had expected that as well but 2225 gave me an additional 150fps.

Sometimes reloading is predicable and other times it seems like a lottery.
