    Yes, such that they can then say "why are you buying .44mag ammo? You don't own a .44mag rifle....."

    As per their website ammunition is not going to be required to be registered.

    Currently retailers have an obligation to record details for ammunition sales. Similar to what they have to do for firearms.

    who are THEY???? in theory the police COULD..but a retailer shouldnt have that information..so it would be only able to happen if police do a double check after sale is completed.
