About LinkBacksouchies... saw someone fire a .270 from a 7mm rem mag the other weekend. Some tosser had been fiddling in the shop and obviously wanted a 7mm rm for his collection (snuck it into his .270 packet). Unfortunately the hapless shooter didn't notice, cambered and fired it. No apparent damage.
Check your ammo people! There are a few combinations that could be fatal! ie .308 in a .270.
Fired about 10 rounds of .308 out of a Mosin Nagant using a very long string. Worked quite well until we jammed the barrel in the ground.
