As well as arguing for P endorsement for sports use I believe there should be an option to apply for it on medical grounds but subject to some restrictions. People with recoil sensitivity, lack of dexterity, lack of upper body functionality due to injury/loss of limb should be allowed to hunt with Prohibited firearms. The license wouldn’t include P magazine endorsement so restricted to 10 rounds. They would need a medical certificate similar to the ones in Australia that allow medical endorsement for using semi auto shotguns for clay shooting.
