Hi team I know someone who has been waiting on new licence application
They have received a licence but is in wrong name
Has Wrong date of birth correct photo
This person has not even completed the safety course yet
Who would you advise this should be taken up with
To me this is a major police f up

i suggest you send the details to nichole at ACT, she will raise hell on it

Ha Ha I would laugh if being a nark makes them cancel the request, not fit and proper Could have been a simple mistake, you know, they do happen

I wouldn't deliberately be trying to shift the police, despite what people think. Treat it the same as any transaction and go to the source before going behind their backs.

So this name which is on the licence came up during the vetting process as there was a mix up in the police database somehow
But was all sorted out at that point
This person is apparently well know to police
It is in my opinion only sheer luck that the licence didn’t end up in there letter box
Who knows what they may or may not have done with it. pretty scary tho
And as for not having completed the safety course how many times have licences been processed like this
In my opinion the vetting officers involved have done there job
But police hq have failed us once again
Pretty sure we are in this current licensing situation because of police licensing down falls
So they could just contact AO for a please explain and watch it get swept under the rug and nothing done to rectify the issue
Or they could try to get things changed for the safety of our county
It’s in there court
