dosen't have to be bolted to wall if its for A. However it would make sense to secure to the wall anyway, Can you attach it to Wall Studs??

My E is dyna bolted from the inside with 4 big ass dyna bolts well into reinforced concrete and also attached to floor with liberal application of no more nails as recommended by local locksmiths.

When mine was inspected the "inspector" said "Oh the dynabolt nuts need to be "welded otherwise someone could undo them and take the whole safe"

I suggested that would be a bit silly of them (the someone that is) as that would mean that the safe was already open but I supposed they could take the safe too so they could store their new guns safely. Shoulda seen the look I got!!!!!!!!!!!! Common sense is dead

Was thinking of a steel brace of some sort behind the safe with another bracket bolted to the floor??,i mean im not realy into e cats just want my hunting gear to be safe as it could be,,the arms code says secured on two surfaces..i just dont want any shadow of doubt over my security,,but then again if they really want to steal my stuff they will rite..

I am with VC. You have already done enough. Bolting into the studs or noggins does make sense if you can do it though

"dosen't have to be bolted to wall if its for A"

My AO checked my A class safe was solid, I used 3 x M8 bolts into the floor with spreader plates as my wall is also gib, he seemed happy. If its not you might have issues, I mean its not really "secure" if the thief can pick up the container and walk off with it and dismatle it at his/her leasure IMHO.

Complying with a made-up requirement in the Arms Code doesn't actually mean in the slightest that your shit will be more secure in the real world, if it's a quality safe, bolted securely to a surface and difficult to access for leverage etc then it's going to be fine

I thought the full stop was extremely well said.

It's overpunctuation ... Taken to the extreme. Why finish with a dot ? The last word is the end of the sentence. Or in this case nothing.
