I remember a mistake I made as a younger hunter , was bush hunting with my uncle .He had gone down the side while I continued along the ridge. A movement caught my attention ahead off the ridge ,rifle up & the white patch in my scope looked like a deers bum .
Not a good shot so waited for a sight picture,finger round trigger .It turned a little & what I thought was a deers ass was my uncles day pack in the cross hairs.On realizing I threw the rifle on the ground. Good excuse for a scope even if it was only 4x40 Bushnell on top of the old .303
