Yes and not just gangsters, kids as well. In Birkenhead, there are at least 4 Vape shops. Every few days, one of them gets new plywood windows and then 2 days later, another one... I'm wondering if there will be a week without a ram raid, not so far...

I don't disagree that journos don't know what happened, but what they can publish, is subject to discretion.

I will disagree with you about the labour govt. not because I like labour, but in my opinion politicians of any flavour, running the country, are the wrong people to do so.

Why should the winners of a popularity contest run the country?

We should be able to vote for: i.e. the best accountants to run finance, the best judges to run justice, the best large organisation head, to be PM etc - Best doctors to run health, you get the idea....

Best rugby coaches to run Rugby NZ, etc, etc...

When i was 12yrs-old , I said pretty-much the exact same-thing to my parents . Dad was a 'National-voter' and Mum voted 'Labour' , they both explained that I would understand it better when I 'Grew-up' . When 'that' happened, I didn't bother voting for years . It's still essentially the same ; You are 'Free' to vote : Fools 'A'........or Fools 'B' . On the subject of 'escalating-Crime' , it is World-wide , along with its meth-use and it definitely moved-up-a-gear when Australian-created Crims got exported here . As a result of that , a new-level of violence was seen everywhere and all the young and dumb gang-prospects have embraced it whole-heartedly which just pushes it even further . You can vote for as many incompetent-liars as you want , whatever 'hats' they happen to wear , and it will not change this .
