Thread: Banning shortend firearms!

Not sure if this is the right place...

Own a bushpig? Ever recrowned your barrel? Ever modified your firearm in any way that made the overall length shorter, e.g. shortened the stock, barrel, butt plate?

A friend forward this link to me outlining National MPs Alister Scott's members bill that seeks to make it illegal to own any shortened firearm without a police permit. The current wording is crazy and will penalise only law abiding firearms users. Have a read and see what you think...

I will be emailing a few MPs, this really needs to be nipped in the bud before it gains any traction.
