    I believe he was a firearms safety instructor of some sort.
    He was experienced and understood the risks involved in hunting.
    Yet he still shot someone
    We should all learn from this, as it is mostly experienced hunters shooting other hunters. Most of us are experienced, and we would never shoot someone by mistake - right?? Bet he thought that too.
    Complacency is our biggest enemy here.
