Is there another way of changing your address other then online?
On line sends you a tex? i don't get tex at home and have no signal where i am working at the moment.
Can you just go in and fill out a form or can you do it over the phone?

Don't think so.
I never noticed a txt from them,
or any contact regarding checking my security.
getting into years now.
though I do know my address has been updated on file
Mind you on my relicense interview security was never checked either.
Just been through this. Never been able to get the "RealMe" bollocks to function properly so gave up on doing it online and printed out the paperwork. Completed it and dutifully went to the local station to hand it in.
Five times. Five different times on 3 separate days during the open hours of the local station. And every time the doors were locked and intercom goes straight to nowhere.
Gave up and scanned paper copy through to the national arms office email. Got a general pre generated response that they had received it and would be in touch.
Radio silence for quite some time now. Figure I have completed my legal requirements so we will see if anyone ever comes to verify the storage requirements
Oh that gives me such a good feeling about the registry being effective. And here I was full of high hopes
We are on the road and don't have an address I was told I could just put down caravan by the arms officer who inspected it. But the real me site requires an address otherwise you cannot complete the changes on the site. I emailed the Chch arms officer and eventually got a reply 4 weeks later.
Never had any texts from them just an email saying they had received my email.
Happy Jack.
I think they will merely wait the few more weeks till address change automatically means your firearms will have to be registered.
Except for the fact that they received and acknowledged the receiving prior to the registry going live.
Did mine March 6. No response other than automatic reply. Followed up May 10 to make sure. Nothing. I might have moved again by the time they get around to it.
been at new pozzie 13 months or so no contacr for inspection but saved the email aknoledging the change of address
I used to email them, I no longer have the address I used, but there are contact details for all local arms offices at the bottom of this page

Thanks @ROKTOY setting up that account on line is a shit of a idea,
and yes they try and send a tex confirming cell number or a code or some shit. Only if i got cell coverage at home or work
The on line one didn't always send a response either, and according to local AO didn't always work as I found out when applying for a mail order transfer thingy. Sorted address change over phone, even called back to see if it was correct as it wasn't in whatever data base is used
