Last week I requested for an inspection through the Firearms Registry. Haven't heard anything so far. Do I need to visit a police station in person to follow up?
Would be interesting to hear how long it normally takes for everyone.

my security is however over the top, fireams in safe 1, bolts in safe 2, ammo in safe 3
fully alarmed and 8 cameras
So long as you have notified them of your change of address, there is no need for any further action on your part. It is up to them to get back to you. And in the meantime, as you are a law abiding licensed firearms owner, you will have installed your security to the guidelines, and you are legally allowed to continue storing your firearms in your new security.
As above, there is no requirement to prove that you are meeting requirements until asked. There is a requirement that you aren't found to be not meeting requirements when asked.
Last time I did it they came out a couple of years later funnily the day before I was moving again.
Have you ever considered adding biometric authentication to your security setup for an added layer of protection?
About 6 weeks for me last year, however have mates that have moved twice and not been looked at, but that's in another district.
Happy Jack.
Old system was a full licence cycle for me
