Nothing that Chaz has said indicates what the ongoing costs are projected to be.

Certainly it has the prospect of becoming the proverbial bottomless pit, much as was found to be the case in Canada.

Did it achieve the purported goal - I think not else why would it have been abandoned?

People forget that those outrageous costs are part of the drive to reduce legal firearms ownership.

By law these 500M have to be recovered from firearms owners....
