    Cleaning the rifle

Not sure this is the best place for this post, but the film points out a very important safety detail so....

I'm under the impression firearm cleaning isn't very popular in NZ, so this might be for blind eyes

Very boring film, but someone asked me if I could show my cleaning routine for my rifles. I'm not trying to show THE way of firearm cleaning, only A way. Basically I clean very little after each shooting which saves me that PIA cleaning where you struggle with accuracy and copper fouling forever.

Here's my top tips to spend as little time as possible cleaning:

Put oil in the barrel at the range. Don't let the carbon settle.
At home, use quality cleaning rods. I have two, one for brushes, one for patches. Saves time.
Bore foam copper remover is great. No labour, just spray it in and leave it.

BE WARNED: This video is boring.

Roughly 10-15 minutes spent from unpacking the rifle till it's in the safe clean...
