It's not illegal to shoot out of your window unless you are frightening, annoying or endangering persons or property.
There are no distances etc.
Trust me.
So the guy in Southland (Gorge road area) that was duck shooting on a pond within 60m from a public road and got charged with discharging a firearm within 200m of a public place, he would like you rule and not the judges one.

There is no such charge, he would have been annoying, frightening or endangering persons or property. No piece of Arms Act legislation states a distance you must be. I'm more than happy to be proved wrong.
