Thread: E-Cat Safe and Application

Hi there-

Your advice/comments please.

I am interested in applying for my E-cat. I have an M1 Carbine that doesn't deserve to be shot with a cut down mag and a strong interest in buying a 'proper' AR in the near future, as well as competing in MSSA shoots.

I have asked my local Arms Officer to explain the storage as I heard there were changes to be made. He said the Kilwell and Bite Security E-cat safes are the only ones they will approve. I understand there are many, many other models available in NZ including others with homemade safes.

Does this sound right to you or do I ask further questions or elsewhere?
