An easy way to submit on the Arms Act

    This is doing the rounds

    https://tinyurl.com/yc82t872

If you have an app on your device that does email, following that link takes you to a formatted email, ready to send to the Ministry of Justice.

You just need to do an intro, and fill your parts in about what you want to see changed. You can delete the the whole thing and put something else in if you want to. But this should be helpful to those that might find the discussion document daunting, might not have time to do a detailed submission, or might just be struggling to articulate your position.

You don't need to use lawyer speak, just say what you want changed in your own words.

You should receive an email from the office of the clerk once they confirm they receive it

It's a numbers game, Duncan Webb (MP), Yazbek and her Anti-Gunners along with numerous others know this, if they can submit more than Firearms Owners/Users they control the narrative. Take Seymour's Treaty Bill as an example. Make a Submission, even an e-mail counts with your thoughts on the matter. It doesn't have to be questionnaire or the Parliament website form. Numbers, it's a Numbers game.

If the link doesn't work for you, you can copy the template it takes you to and email it to firearms@justice.govt.nz

I object to my personal information being released as part of an Official Information Act request. I object to this due to concerns around my data and identity security.

Introduction: Describe who you are and what your experience with firearms is.

I want to see these changes made to the Arms Act:

I want to see these changes made because:

Thank you for considering my submission

Can you make more than one submission? (asking for a friend!)

Yes, as many as you like but will be counted as one overall if using your own name/address on each. They will be classed as Supplementary(s) to your original.
