Question, if said firearm was in a locked case and at least part of said case was visible. Does this constitute " in sight" ?
You can't see the firearm as such. But everyone knows what's in a rifle case. I know you are required to conceal with jackets or what ever. But as I said, what if part of the case is still visible. You need a lot of stuff to cover one case let alone two. Even harder too make it looks like the stuff is covering something. A case does pretty much go from one side of a vehicle to the other. So a full load of stuff in the back seat is required in a ute that has no boot or tray cover.
