Thread: FAL renewal

I renewed mine last month.

Firstly - I got a letter notifying me that my license was due to expire, a month before it would expire. Big tick to coppers there.
Secondly, BOTH of my referees were phone calls - my mother in Palmerston North, my friend (paramedic for St Johns, not that it matters) in Auckland
Then I was phoned and a time made for a visit from assessing person - checked my security, had a yarn and actually a decent chat.
2 weeks later my replacement license arrived.

Yes, I'm only on a "lowly" A-cat license...... but I was impressed. Quick, easy, simple, efficient. So big ups to the Albany area guy here in Auckland.
