    To break a chunk of wood out of the stock it would basically have to be thrown at the ground or stabbed with a forklift fork.....regardless of packaging.

    Interested,and not trying to second guess here,but how do you "wrap" it.Is it in a hard gun case,plastic,wooden,cardboard??.The first poster shows a photo that looks like its just wrapped in paper,cloth.Seems you are just asking for issues with that type of wrap.Curious as to why anyone would send a gun like that.

    I understand cases can get expensive,seems a small price to pay for the value and condition of the firearm.

    I'm not sure how it was packaged other than the guy saying it was well packaged sorry.
