    Firearms shipping.

Looking at a shot gun on Trade Me. Buyer says must pick up but it's at the other end of the country.

What's the easiest way to ship it Timaru to Auckland. Needs to be no hassle for the seller, Could they take it to a gun city or hunting and fishing store perhaps.
Gun control is using both hands

H&F Timaru should be able to transfer it to one of the group stores in Auckland.

Couriers charge by volume as well as weight. We, a Stihl/Honda dealership, often get charged seemingly exorbitant amounts for freight. It is what it is. Hunting and Fishing this week charged me $70 to ship a shotgun to Tauranga H&F. Was in it’s original packaging but they added xtra padding as protection. A bit steep but saves the hassle of organising transport with random (uninsured) people. Just remember, it costs $20 to courier a single packet of primers from Gunworks to Blenheim. You really want to need them at that rate!

Davos Hunting and Fishing in Timaru is also part of the firearms dealer to dealer network.
