    I can understand how this happened and it comes under "shit happens, I just didn't think it would be this fast"
    But what I'm wondering about is what was the point of the email in the first place ?
    A: Update some addresses that they should of already had on file ?
    OR
    B: Initiate some more activating events by people confirming their addresses ?

    My thoughts would be more likely option B
