Regarding the registration thing, for shits and giggles, I recently purchased an MSSA, and did my bit, took it to the local to get endorsed to me, he grabbed the pink slip without looking at it or the rifle and was about to walk off when I asked him if he was going to bother inspecting the rifle and filling the form out for me. So we did that. And a few days later I get an email from the AO saying the rifle doesnt exist in the system. Further investigation revealed the bolt had been registered at some point, but not the rifle. Cluster fuck. We don't want this multiplied by a few hundred.

Each time the vetting officer comes to check my B cat safe and contents there is usually a mistake on my file last time a pistol was entered twice, I have not bought or sold a pistol in 4 years
so how does my file get changed, the worst one was one pistol I had sold was still on my file so they have lost one all together unless the new owner did their paperwork,
Just as well the vetting officer lives in the real world and believed me could have been in real trouble.
